On Thursday evening, the New York Knicks will be in Philadelphia to face off against the 76ers.

Before the game, the team announced that they had signed two players to 10-day contracts.

First, they revealed the signing of Jacob Toppin

Via New York Knicks PR: "The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed forward Jacob Tobin to a 10-day contract."

Toppin is in his rookie season and has already played five games for the Knicks. 

He is averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 55.6% from the field and 25.0% from the three-point range. 

Six minutes later, the Knicks announced that they had signed DaQuan Jeffries to a 10-day contract. 

Via New York Knicks PR: "The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard/forward DaQuan Jeffries to a 10-day contract."

Jeffries is in his fifth year in the league and has played ten games with New York this season. 

He is averaging 1.1 points per contest while shooting 41.7% from the field.  

In addition to the Knicks, Jeffries has also spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies. 

As for the Knicks, they are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 33-22 record in 55 games.  

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game losing streak.  

Following the 76ers, the Knicks will host Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
