Green’s status will be updated in approximately two weeks, the Bulls say.

There is still no timetable for Javonte Green’s return, but his status will be updated in approximately two weeks, the Chicago Bulls announced on Monday.

Green has been limited to just 28 games this season due to a bone bruise in his right knee on which he underwent arthroscopic debridement on January 11.

While the team has left the door open for his return, Green, who will hit unrestricted free agency this summer, may have already played his last game as a Bull.

As of Sunday, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound spark plug was said to be experiencing discomfort with lateral movement and had yet to progress past straight-line running.

With 17 games left in the regular season and play-in tournament contention drifting further away, time is running away from both Green and the Chicago Bulls.
