One of the biggest names to emerge from this year’s March Madness tournament is Oakland Golden Grizzlies senior Jack Gohlke.

While many NBA fans don’t see him as the kind of player who will be a high draft pick in the 2024 Draft, he’s immortalized himself with the way he helped the Golden Grizzlies dispatch the Kentucky Wildcats in what is now a legendary game.

While his team did lose in heartbreaking fashion in the second round of the tournament, he won’t be ending the 2024-24 season with a bitter aftertaste after bagging a huge deal that will provide him with financial security.

Oakland Golden Grizzlies’ Jack Gohlke bags Buffalo Wild Wings deal after legendary March Madness performance

The Spun’s Andrew Holleran broke that one of the breakout stars of the tournament was able to bag a deal with one of the most popular restaurant chains in the United States after bringing down the Wildcats with his shooting:

The Oakland Golden Grizzlies star has landed a big deal with Buffalo Wild Wings.

“Jack Gohlke has become the latest March Madness star to ink an NIL deal with Buffalo Wild Wings. He’s also released his own merch, signed with TurboTax and gained 60K+ followers,” On3 reported.

Gohlke took to social media to announce the deal.

“Sent the game to overtime so that meant more great times @bwwings AND six free boneless wings. This March Madness, order using Blazin’ Rewards before the last game of the day goes into overtime to receive the offer #OvertimeDeal #NIL #sponsored,” he wrote.

This deal provides a bow to what has been a crazy couple of weeks for the senior. While he’s playing in a less prestigious conference, he’s still one of the team’s offensive pillars with averages of 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

His 38% shooting clip and 38% accuracy from long range may not get him a sure-fire ticket to the NBA, but his legendary effort against a powerhouse program like Kentucky will make him one of the most beloved names for college hoops fans for years.
