On Sunday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder  faced off against the Houston Rockets in Texas.

The Thunder won by a score of 123-110.

Lindy Waters III did not appear in the game, and on Monday, the team announced that he had been assigned to the G League.

Via Clemente Almanza of OKC Thunder Wire: "Thunder PR:

The Oklahoma City Thunder has assigned guard Lindy Waters III to the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League."

Right now, he is averaging 2.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 44.2% from the field and 43.8% from the three-point range in 24 games.

He has also spent a lot of time in the G League during his three seasons as a pro.

As for the Thunder, they are in the middle of their best season in years.

They are tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first seed in the Western Conference and have a 40-17 record in 57 games.

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday evening, the Thunder and Rockets will face off (again), but this time, the matchup will be in Oklahoma City.
