The Pacers enter the offseason with salary-cap flexibility and they have Jalen Brunson on their radar, as longtime NBA journalist Marc Stein reports on his Substack. The Mavericks point guard previously played under Pacers coach Rick Carlisle while he was coaching in Dallas.

Brunson, who just scored a career-high 41 points in Game 2 of the Mavericks-Jazz series, is expected to have numerous suitors. The Knicks are among the teams linked to the future unrestricted free agent.
