Paul Pierce: I'm gonna bounce back like never before after getting fired by ESPN

Paul Pierce was recently fired by ESPN after a questionable Instagram live stream in which he was seen partying with strippers. However, it appears the Boston Celtics legend doesn't think he'll be without a job for long.

As he was walking out of a Beverly Hills restaurant on Friday night, Pierce said: "Truth gonna bounce back like never before. … That's all you gotta know," according to TMZ Sports.

After Pierce was let go by ESPN, the owner of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, began recruiting the 2008 NBA champion. However, this is just speculation, and Pierce never said whether or not he was considering joining Barstool Sports.

The 43-year-old did like a few tweets from fans telling him to join Barstool Sports. So, who knows? Maybe something is in the works.

Pierce spent most of his career with the Celtics and also spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards. He finished his career averaging 19.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 44.5% from the field and 36.8% from deep.
