New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram exited early in the second half of Thursday’s 121-106 road loss to the Orlando Magic and his status is yet to be determined.

The Pelicans (42-27) entered the night having won seven of eight.

Ingram needed to be helped off the court by teammates and the Pelicans were awaiting the result of an MRI late Thursday night.

“Hopefully, there’s nothing wrong with him,” guard/forward Trey Murphy III told reporters.

Coach Willie Green said he had no updates immediately after the game.

Ingram, 26, is averaging 21.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists, shooting 49 percent from the field and 36 percent on 3-pointers in 62 games.

New Orleans currently sits in fifth place in the Western Conference standings, 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks.
