It feels like it's taken an eternity for the Philadelphia 76ers to trade James Harden to the LA Clippers. While the trade hasn't happened yet, it's starting to feel like it's becoming closer and closer to the finish line.

According to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Philadelphia 76ers have been valuing Terance Mann and multiple first-round draft picks for James Harden. The LA Clippers have been offering one unprotected first-round pick and a pick swap for James Harden. LA has also been communicating with other teams about moving pick swaps for additional draft capital to help their proposal with the 76ers.

It seems pretty clear at this point that the LA Clippers have not fully offered Terance Mann, otherwise, the deal with the Philadelphia 76ers would have been done. While the front office clearly values Terance Mann, the coaching staff will need to play him more to make this type of resistance worth it. It would be inexcusable to play Terance Mann anything less than 30 minutes a game if he's a player who can't be traded for James Harden.

Despite no movement happening quite yet, it sounds like the Clippers are far more motivated to get a deal done right now than they were last month. If both sides are motivated, typically, a deal will get done.
