Udoka Azubuike had a stellar college career at Kansas before being selected with the 27th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz.

This past year, the 23-year-old played in 36 regular season games and averaged 3.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest while shooting 81.9% from the field.

He became a free agent over the offseason, and on Tuesday, the Phoenix Suns officially signed him (via the NBA Player Transactions page).

Azubuike has been in the NBA for three seasons (all with the Jazz) and has career averages of 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 76.9% from the field in 68 regular season games (he has also appeared in one NBA playoff game).

In addition to his time in the NBA, he has also played in eight G League games for the Salt Lake City Stars.

Last month, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Azubuike's deal with the Suns is for a two-way contract.

Therefore, he will be able to spend time in the G League (and with the Suns).

Via Wojnarowski on July 31: "Free agent C Udoka Azubuike has agreed on a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns, Zach Kurtin and Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tell ESPN. He was the 27th overall pick to the Jazz in 2020."

Last year, the Suns were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games).

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round (in six games).
