The going price multiple NBA teams have found from the Detroit Pistons for small forward Bojan Bogdanovic is one first and multiple seconds, which is too steep for any suitor so far, according to Matt Moore of The Action Network.

Bogdanovic is one of the top shooters in the NBA. The veteran swingman averaged 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists this past season for the Pistons while shooting 48.8% from the field, 41.1% from beyond the arc and 88.4% from the free-throw line.

In October 2022, Bogdanovic signed a two-year, $39 million extension with the Pistons. However, since Detroit is in rebuild mode, maybe the franchise will be open to moving Bogdanovic this offseason if the right deal becomes available.

The Pistons talked to the Dallas Mavericks about a Bogdanovic trade before the 2023 draft. Jonathan Givony of ESPN reported that the Pistons talked about trading Bogdanovic and the 31st overall pick in the draft to the Mavericks for shooting guard Tim Hardaway Jr. and the 10th overall pick. However, no deal was made.

Detroit can always start the season with Bogdanovic on the roster and move him before or at the 2024 trade deadline. There could be a desperate playoff team in need of shooting who will give the Pistons want they want for Bogdanovic, who has career averages of 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists with the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Indiana Pacers, Utah Jazz and Pistons.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Bogdanovic moving forward. The Pistons clearly value him, which is why they will only trade him for a grand package.

In the past, the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks have been linked to Bogdanovic since both teams need more shooting.
