The Toronto Raptors will suddenly be without Precious Achiuwa on Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers.

Achiuwa is a late scratch with right knee soreness, the team announced. It's the first time he's appeared on the injury report with the injury.

Indiana has announced both Aaron Nesmith and Andrew Nembhard will be out for the Pacers.

Achiuwa has been battling injuries all season for Toronto. He missed most of the preseason with a groin strain that he reaggravated early in the regular season and forced him to the sideline for five games earlier this month.

Without Achiuwa, Toronto will likely give those minutes to Chris Boucher and Otto Porter Jr. off the bench. They are likely to be joined by Gary Trent Jr. and Malachi Flynn in the second unit for the Raptors.

Achiuwa did not appear injured in Toronto's blowout loss to the Orlando Magic on Thursday night. He played 15 minutes and scored five points.

Toronto remains without Thad Young and Christian Koloko.

The Raptors will have a day off Thursday before returning home for an in-season tournament game against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
