Rajon Rondo after Clippers' Game 3 win: 'We haven't done anything special'

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 118-108 in Game 3 on Friday night to cut Dallas' series lead 2-1.

It was L.A.'s best performance of the postseason thus far, but Rajon Rondo and the rest of the team aren't ready to celebrate just yet because they know there's still a lot of work to be done.

"Obviously, backs against the wall," Rondo said, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. "Champions respond. We can't crown ourselves too early, but understand to have that mindset that when things get wrong, we got to fight, and tonight we stuck to the fight, down 19. I think that's one of the biggest obstacles in the playoffs.

"We haven't done anything special though. We won one game, and we'll watch the film tomorrow and see how we can come out better on Sunday and hopefully have the same type of outcome."

Kawhi Leonard notched a team-high 36 points and Paul George had 29 points in the win. The biggest difference for the Clippers was the contributions from Marcus Morris, who tallied 15 points, and Reggie Jackson, who dropped 16.

L.A. also did a good job of limiting Kristaps Porzingis, Tim Hardaway Jr., Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith.

The Clippers are now back in the series and have a chance to tie it 2-2 in Game 4 on Sunday and take home-court advantage back to L.A.
