The Raptors already parted ways with forward OG Anunoby, and from the sounds of things, big man Pascal Siakam is likely next.

Siakam, 30, has been in trade rumors since the offseason and has an expiring contract. That automatically makes him a candidate for a deal. Plus, he’s pretty good — and the Raptors are not. So maybe it’s time for Toronto to see how to reshape the roster.

They started that process by trading Anunoby to the Knicks in exchange for wing RJ Barrett and guard Immanuel Quickley. To many, that deal signified the beginning of the end for Siakam’s time in Toronto as well.

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, those around the league believe the Raptors will “move on” from Siakam before the deadline. Several Hoops Wire sources have said the same.

Siakam reportedly has been drawing interest from the Pacers, Kings, Warriors and others. But that means little, as no one was linking Anunoby to New York before he was traded there.

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, Feb. 8.
