The Toronto Raptors will be rewarding their guys.

Mouhamadou Gueye and Justise Winslow, two members of the Raptors 905, have reportedly signed 10-day contracts to join the big club, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania. The team has yet to officially announce the signings.

Toronto had two empty roster spots to fill following the trade deadline and has opted to fill those spots with players within the organization. Both Gueye and Winslow joined the Raptors on Exhibit 10 deals during training camp before being waived and assigned to the G League.

Winslow, 27, is a former lottery pick who has had his NBA career derailed by injuries. He’s played in 17 G League games for the 905 this season, averaging 16.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game while shooting 51.4% from the floor and 27.6% from behind the arc. The 6-foot-6 wing will likely join the Raptors as an end-of-the-bench depth piece for the next little while.

The 6-foot-9 Gueye played for Toronto during Summer League and has had a strong season with the 905 this year, averaging 14.3, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game across 28 G League games. He offers the Raptors another versatile small-ball big man on the bench with a little more quickness than Jontay Porter.

Neither Gueye or Winslow is expected to see much playing time with the Raptors, but they’ll have a chance to show the organization what they can do in practice reps over the next 10 days.

Players who sign two 10-day deals with a team before they must be signed to a standard contract or released.
