The reinforcements have arrived in Toronto.

Bruce Brown Jr., Kira Lewis, and Jordan Nwora are all in town and set to play Thursday night for the Toronto Raptors who host DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls.

For Brown and Nwora, it was a flight from Sacramento where the Pacers had been preparing for their game against the Kings. Lewis, meanwhile, had been home in New Orleans before venturing up to join his new club.

Nwora, 25, and Lewis, 22, will likely settle into Toronto for the next little while. They both are on expiring contracts and have been in and out of the rotation in their previous stops. Toronto will likely give them a shot to prove themselves with the Raptors over the next few months.

Brown’s future is a little more uncertain. He can be an expiring contract this year, but Toronto is likely to draw interest in the 27-year-old wing who helped lead the Denver Nuggets to a championship last season. The New York Knicks have already been mentioned as a potential landing spot for Brown who cannot be aggregated with other players in a trade ahead of the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

Toronto will certainly use Brown as a key rotation player for however long he’s with the club. He adds a much-needed defensive element to the Raptors who have been lacking a versatile wing since the loss of OG Anunoby earlier this year. Offensively, Brown can fill multiple roles, playing both on the ball and off the ball. He’s averaging 12.1 points, three assists, and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 47.5% from the floor this year.
