Omer Yurtseven is coming off a season where he averaged 4.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 59.3% from the filed in nine games for the Miami Heat (he also appeared in eight NBA playoff games).  

This summer, the 25 year old became a free agent, and (on Monday) ESPN's Bobby Marks reports that Yurtseven is signing with the Utah Jazz.  

Via Marks : "Free agent Omer Yurtseven has agreed on a two-year deal with the Utah Jazz, agent Keith Glass tells ESPN. The starting salary in the first year is $2.8M."

Yurtseven has played two seasons in the NBA (all with the Heat), and has career averages of 5.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per contest while shooting 53.3% from the field in 65 regular season games (he has also appeared in 17 NBA playoff games). 

During his rookie season, the Heat were the first seed in the Eastern Conference and lost in Game 7 of the Conference Finals to the Boston Celtics.  

This past season, they were the eighth seed, but made the NBA Finals (they lost to the Denver Nuggets in five games). 

In addition to the Heat, Yurtseven has also played 16 games in the G League, and has averages of 16.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest while shooting 58.6% from the field.
