According to NBA insider K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, Chicago Bulls center Andre Drummond is drawing trade interest from several teams.

It’s unknown if the Bulls are interested in parting ways with Drummond, who is in the final year of his contract. The big man is making $3.4 million.

Drummond is averaging 7.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks for the Bulls this season while shooting 55.3% from the field and 55.3% from the free-throw line. He has eight double-doubles.

According to NBA insider Dave McMenamin of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers are one of the teams interested in trading for Drummond. The Lakers think Drummond can help them in a potential playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, who won the NBA championship last season. Denver swept Los Angeles in the 2023 Western Conference Finals.

Drummond played 21 games for the Lakers during the 2020-21 season. He averaged 11.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks while shooting 53.1% overall and 60.5% from the foul line.
