Report: Joakim Noah to sign deal with Clippers for rest of season

The NBA is set to return at Walt Disney World next month, provided coronavirus concerns don't escalate rapidly ... but some players may be left without contracts.

Players who signed 10-day contracts will see their deals expire on June 23, but one player reportedly will be signing a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers to play the remainder of the season with the organization.

Longtime Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah, 35, will reportedly be signing a deal with the Clippers for the remainder of the campaign, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The Clippers sit second in the Western Conference behind the Lakers and likely will sign Noah to bolster their depth ahead of the season resume at Disney World. Teams are allowed to carry 17 players and Noah could prove to be a solid addition down the stretch.

Other players who will see their 10-day contracts expire include Dragan Bender, Joe Chealey, Donta Hall, Sheldon Mac, Dom Pointer, Chasson Randle and Anthony Tolliver. There has been no word yet on whether or not any of those players will be offered deals to continue playing this season.
