Report: Kevin Durant trade talks have 'slowed to a trickle'
The Brooklyn Nets may be " focused" on trying to find a suitable trade partner and luxurious enough trade return for superstar Kevin Durant, but as another summer day goes by, it looks like "KD" is still going to be employed by the Nets. ESPN's Brian Windhorst gave an update on the ongoing stalemate Wednesday morning, and an imminent move doesn't seem to be in the cards.
The saga began nearly three weeks ago when Durant requested a trade out of Brooklyn and has taken frequent twists and turns. Further complicating the matter has been constant trade rumors surrounding fellow Nets star Kyrie Irving.
While Durant is still widely viewed as one of the top talents in the game, it's been reported that teams have been hesitant to take on the 12-time All-Star's contract, which still has four years remaining. Durant will turn 34 in September.
Among the most commonly mentioned teams in Durant rumors have been the Golden State Warriors, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
