The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly placing a premium price tag on prized forward Dorian Finney-Smith.

According to Nets Daily, Brooklyn is seeking two first-round picks in any trade for Finney-Smith.

Finney-Smith was part of the package the Nets received from the Dallas Mavericks for Kyrie Irving last season. Brooklyn netted just a single first-round pick in the deal.

Finney-Smith, while very effective as a role player, doesn’t project as the type of player to warrant multiple firsts.

The Indiana Pacers recently sent the Toronto Raptors multiple first-round picks for Pascal Siakam, who has made two All-NBA teams and was a key cog on a championship team.

Finney-Smith is averaging 9.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game on 41.7% shooting from the field this season. The 6-foot-7 Nets forward is arguably the prototypical three-and-D wing. While valuable, the Nets may have trouble getting anything close to their rumored asking price.

Finney-Smith has failed to score in double figures even once during his last 10 games played. He’s averaged just 3.8 points over his last four contests.
