Robert Covington, Norman Powell to make Clippers debut Sunday vs. Bucks

Prior to Sunday afternoon's blockbuster sending Caris LeVert from the Indiana Pacers to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the biggest move leading up to this season's NBA trade deadline had arguably been Friday's five-player trade between the Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers.

Los Angeles picked up Robert Covington and Norman Powell in the deal and both players will be making their debuts in their new uniforms in a big home game on Sunday night.

The Clippers enter the contest against Milwaukee at 27-27 and in eighth place in the Western Conference standings. The Bucks are 33-21 and in third place in the East, but just game behind the Miami Heat for the number one seed.

In 40 games, including 39 starts, Powell had been leading Portland in three-point field goal percentage at 40.6% and third in points per game at 18.7. Covington meanwhile is posting 7.6 points per game (his lowest since his rookie year) and 5.7 rebounds per contest, and is also averaging 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
