Rockets rookie Jalen Green will likely miss remainder of Summer League with hamstring tightness

Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green will likely miss the remainder of Summer League with right hamstring soreness, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

The No. 2 overall pick in last month's draft left Thursday's 92-76 loss to the Toronto Raptors in the first half and did not return. Green had been one of the standouts of Summer League, averaging 20.3 points on 51.4% shooting, 4.3 rebounds and two assists in three games.

The Rockets don't believe the injury is a "significant concern," according to ESPN. However, he is set to undergo a precautionary MRI.

Green, who opted not to take the college route, played in the NBA G League last year, averaging 17.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 46.1% from the field and 36.5% from deep.
