On Friday evening, the Sacramento Kings  defeated the Toronto Raptors (at home) by a score of 135-130. 

Juan Toscano-Anderson did not appear in the game, and  James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento now reports that the Kings will likely waive him. 

Via Ham: "According to a league source, the Sacramento Kings are expected to waive Juan Toscano-Anderson tomorrow and drop back to 14 rostered players."

Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee also confirmed the report. 

Via Anderson: "League source confirms the Sacramento Kings plan to waive Juan Toscano-Anderson, as reported by James Ham. That will leave the Kings with 14 players, opening up a roster spot."

Toscano-Anderson has played in eight games for the Kings this season.

He is in his fifth season in the league and has also spent time with the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Utah Jazz. 

His career averages are 4.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest while shooting 50.5% from the field and 32.9% from the three-point range in 199 games. 

In addition, Toscano-Anderson was with the Warriors when they won the 2022 NBA Championship over the Boston Celtics
