Shaquille O'Neal creates shrine for Kobe Bryant
Former teammate Shaquille O'Neal had a long relationship with Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and if you were to enter his home, you'd find that out very quickly.
O'Neal has created a shrine in his living room dedicated to Bryant, and he revealed it during a video call with "Entertainment Tonight" to promote his appearance on Discovery's "Shark Week."
O'Neal and Bryant were teammates with the Lakers from 1996-2004, lifting the organization to three straight NBA titles from 2000-02.
When it was announced that Bryant and his daughter Gianna died in a helicopter accident in January, along with seven other individuals, O'Neal gave a touching speech about his "little brother" and broke down in tears.
"I haven't felt a pain that sharp in a while," O'Neal said on TNT's "Remembering Kobe" tribute in January, according to CNN. "I lost a little brother."
While Bryant is no longer with us, his legacy will live on forever. Many memorials were erected in the Los Angeles area following his death, and even someone in Bosnia and Herzegovina created a massive mural dedicated to Bryant.
