During a time when Bol Bol was basically nonexistent, as he played only in the final minutes of blowout games for the Suns, Shaquille O’Neal boldly proclaimed that Bol is closer to Spurs’ star Victor Wembanyama than many fans imagine.

“Wembanyama is just way more consistent than Bol Bol.” Adding further. Bol Bol is the first 7 3” guy who has come out we have seen with the handle, shoot the three.”

Of course, this claim was followed by tremendous pushback. However, the timing of Shaq’s statement was truly impeccable.

In a sudden change of heart, Frank Vogel has recently elevated Bol to play a much larger role off of Phoenix’s bench.

Over the past three games, Bol has averaged 9.6 points to go along with 5.6 rebounds. While this may not seem like much, before this stretch, Bol had just 6 points and 4 rebounds for the entire season.

In response, Shaq made sure to remind fans of what he declared a little over a month ago.

On an Instagram post regarding Bol, Shaq commented, “Told y’all.”

Along with Shaq, fans have not shied away from showing their love for the Suns’ 7’3 PF. Just about every time Bol enters the game inside Footprint Center, the crowd goes wild. On first glance, you might think it’s a playoff game based on the reaction from a simple dunk by Bol.
