The 76ers intend to sign small forward Louis King to a two-way contract, agent George Langberg told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
King, 23, is 6-foot-7 and has been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League, averaging better than 20 points.
Originally undrafted in 2019, King signed a two-way deal with the Pistons first in July 2019, then again in December 2020. A few weeks later, he signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Knicks that lasted a day before he was waived again.
Most of King’s recent NBA experience comes with the Kings, signing a two-way deal in April 2021. Overall, he has appeared in 26 games, carrying averages of 4.2 points and 39 percent shooting.
In a related move, the Sixers are waiving guard Saben Lee to make room for King. We have that full post here.
