The Spurs have officially signed forward Alize Johnson and waived forward Jordan Hall, the team announced in a press release.

Johnson, 26, is 6-foot-7 and actually appeared in four preseason games with the Spurs before being waived in mid-October. He then joined the Austin Spurs, San Antonio’s affiliate in the G League.

Johnson certainly has gained his fair share of experience, spending time with the Bulls, Wizards and Pelicans last season alone, the latter two on 10-day contracts (he signed two of those in New Orleans).

Along with the aforementioned, he has also spent time with the Pacers and Nets since entering the league in 2018. Last season, he appeared in 23 games overall, averaging around 2.0 points and 3.0 rebounds.

With Austin, he averaged 22.2 points and 10.7 rebounds while shooting a sizzling 60 percent from the field.

Hall, 20, is also 6-7 and went undrafted out of St. Joseph’s. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and his teammates have praised him for his floor vision and passing.

Hall appeared in nine games with the Spurs and averaged 3.1 points. He is likely headed to Austin himself.
