For Cedi Osman, it’s officially The Return Game.

It also will be his lone stop in Cleveland this season. That takes place Sunday afternoon, when the Cavaliers host the San Antonio Spurs.

Osman was traded this past summer in a deal that delivered shooting guard Max Strus to the Cavs.

But he’s had nothing but positive things to say about the franchise that drafted him and the city he once called home.

“They really do care about their sports teams, with the Guardians, the Browns, the Cavs,” Osman said, via Tom Orsborn of The San Antonio Express-News. “I always felt their support during games, even during a bad stretch.

“In my second and third year when we were kind of rebuilding, they were supporting us no matter what.”

Osman, 28, was drafted with the first pick of the second round in 2015 (No. 31 overall). He arrived in Cleveland two years later.

He’s averaging 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in his first year with the struggling Spurs (5-29), after spending his first six years in Cleveland.

“I was looking for a new chapter for myself,” Osman said at the start of the season. “Obviously, I had a great six years with the Cleveland Cavaliers — great teammates, great coaches, great front office. Everybody was great.”
