As of Tuesday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves boast the best winning percentage in the NBA this season at .789 while having the fewest losses in the league amid a 15-4 start.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs are on a 14-game losing streak and haven't won since Nov. 2 against the Phoenix Suns.

Arguably the best team in the NBA will host one of its worst at the Target Center on Wednesday night, but the 3-16 Spurs have nothing to lose (except another game) and are ready for the challenge that the T-Wolves pose.

The Spurs already proved they can hang with Minnesota in a tight 117-110 loss in San Antonio on Nov. 10. This is giving players like Spurs center Charles Bassey some more confidence headed into Wednesday's matchup.

"We've seen those guys already, we know who we're going up against," Bassey said. "We know our matchups and stuff, so we're gonna watch film."

The T-Wolves are led by one of the best young players in the league in Anthony Edwards, but its Minnesota's frontcourt that might be the story against Bassey, Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs' big men.

After Edwards' team-leading 26.2 points per game, the Timberwolves have three centers falling in line as the team's second-, third- and fourth-leading scorers. Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid will all present problems due to their size but Bassey feels San Antonio's frontcourt stacks up.

"I mean a lot (of challenges)," Bassey said of what makes Minnesota tough. "We got big guys, me, Vic, Zach, our wings are big too. So it's a challenge to see where we're at. ... We're ready for the challenge."

Wembanyama finished with 29 points, nine rebounds and four blocks in the first meeting with the T-Wolves. The Spurs will need all of that and then some when the two teams tip-off Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. CT.
