The San Antonio Spurs announced the signing Tuesday of center Gorgui Dieng. Terms were not disclosed, with The Athletic reporting a one-year deal.

Dieng, 32, averaged 3.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 8.4 minutes in 44 games (three starts) with Atlanta in 2021-22.

The 6-foot-10 veteran played in 16 games with the Spurs in 2020-21, averaging 5.3 points and 2.6 rebounds.

Over 10 seasons, Dieng owns career averages of 7.5 points and 5.7 rebounds in 597 games (208 starts) with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Hawks and Spurs.

A first-round pick (21st overall) by the Utah Jazz in 2013, he was dealt to the Timberwolves on draft night.
