The Golden State Warriors dynasty seems to be on the verge of ending as Stephen Curry gave a cryptic reaction after the team’s exit from the playoffs. As the season has now ended for the Warriors after the loss against the Sacramento Kings, the team is expected to make some major changes over the summer.

After the humiliating loss in the play-in game, Stephen Curry seemed deeply upset by the defeat. In the press conference, Curry gave a puzzling response after getting asked about playing with Klay Thompson and Draymond Green in the future.

At the end of the day, I just wanna win. That's totally possible. I know the summer's gonna be a lot of conversations, and tryna set up ourselves to win. Whatever that means. Steph Curry said

The Golden State Warriors dynasty of Curry, Thompson and Green have won four championships after being together for twelve years. But the glory seems to be fading for the Dubs in the last couple of seasons. It started earlier this season as Thompson was involved in trade talks. But now the rumors are seemingly coming true after the team’s yet another failed season.

As Curry has played for 15 long seasons in the NBA, the superstar might not have much time to win another championship. For the last two years, the 36-year-old has given his everything on the court but did not get reciprocated efforts from his teammates. Hence, it seems like the team’s main man is willing to make some strong decisions for the Warriors roster.

Warriors teammates got real about Klay Thompson’s future with the team

Despite what Curry suggested about the team’s future, the star had Thompson’s back along with Green. KT had a poor shooting night against the Kings as none of his ten shots made it to the basket. Regardless of his performance Curry and Green expressed a desire to play with him in the future.

Curry indicated that Thompson’s performance of the night does not take away from the fact that he is a champion. While talking about his Splash Brother, Curry reflected on the trio’s history and all the ups and downs they faced in the journey.

I can never see myself not with those two guys…we experienced so much together. At the end of the day, I know they want to win and I know I want to win and that's all I worry about. Steph Curry added

While Thompson was injured in 2020, the team never turned their back on him. As the star is now again going through a rough period, Green hoped that the team would make the right decision for Thompson and not trade him.

They'll make the best decision for the team. I don't think there's any scenario where Klay leaves and that's the best scenario for this team of organization… They've done right by all of us. Draymond Green said

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr also agreed that the team needs Thompson back next year. The team showed their decade-long bond by sticking together even after a rough season.
