Ahead of the Suns’ Sunday afternoon matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers, Stephen A. Smith made his views clear regarding head coach Frank Vogel during the NBA on ESPN studio discussion.

When Kendrick Perkins pointed out the perceived lack of leadership in the 4th quarter without Chris Paul, Smith added that Phoenix appears to lack organization.

In a passionate outburst, Smith exclaimed, “You have a job,” directing his frustration towards head coach Frank Vogel.

This reaction followed a string of losses that the Suns endured after the All-Star break. While they have grappled with injuries, including Bradley Beal’s absence and Jusuf Nurkic missing a game, the Suns have struggled to maintain consistency throughout four quarters of basketball.

Consequently, they have slipped to 8th place in the Western Conference standings, with a challenging schedule looming ahead.

In his tenure spanning 11 seasons as a head coach, Frank Vogel has amassed a 464-413 record and secured a championship with the Lakers in 2020.

Do you agree with Stephen A Smith’s assessment?
