The Golden State Warriors have been the most successful team in the NBA for the past 10 years with their trio of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson . Their combined success means leaving one out of the equation has often led to unfavorable results.

This has led to rookie  Trayce Jackson-Davis calling the trio the GOAT as a unit. The Warriors rookie was a guest on NBA Today on ESPN when host Malika Andrews asked what it is like to play alongside the trio.

It's great. I call them the three-headed GOAT. They're just monsters, but at the same time, being able to play with them. The experience that they have that they've given me. The confidence that coach Kerr's given me. Also throwing in CP into the equation. It's been great. Trayce Jackson-Davis said

Trayce Jackson-Davis suggested that playing alongside them is surreal as all three combined make the best trio in basketball. He refers to them as the greatest of all time considering their skills collectively.

To say the trio is the best is an understatement. Stephen Curry is the best shooter in the NBA. Klay Thompson has been one of the best 3-and-D specialists over the years. Add to that the versatile play of Draymond Green, whose hard-nosed defense is joined by elite playmaking.

When playing together, the trio have amassed 4 NBA titles. They have also set the record for the best regular season record for any team in history. Even now in the latter years of their careers, when all three are on the floor, analysts will pick them over other teams in a playoff battle.

Trayce Jackson-Davis unlocks Golden State Warriors winning streak

Ever since the rookie out of Indiana was drafted, he has slowly seen an increase in his minutes per game. That improvement did not go unnoticed as head coach Steve Kerr inserted Trayce Jackson-Davis into the starting lineup recently. Since then, the Warriors have gone 8-1, with the only 3 points denying them from winning 9 straight in that period.

It seems that becoming a starter has uniquely helped the Golden State Warriors. The bigger Jackson-Davis has his prime focus on rebounding and manning the paint. This leaves Green to be increasingly effective as a help defender. If other teams want to beat them with size, the Warriors have it covered.

All that interior presence frees up Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry to focus their energies on only patrolling the. It also allows them to stay fresh for clutch moments near the end of the game.
