Stephen Curry reacted to the moment Kamala Harris was officially sworn in as vice president of the United States by relaying how important it was to share the moment with his children.

The Golden State Warriors superstar took to Twitter to react to the history being made in D.C. with Harris’ inauguration.

“Talk about a moment,” Curry wrote in regard to his children — daughters, Riley and Ryan, and son, Canon — to see.

Harris is the nation’s first African-American vice president, the first Asian-American vice president and the first woman vice president.

Curry and the Warriors, including head coach Steve Kerr, had an extremely acrimonious relationship with the previous occupant of the White House throughout his term, so Curry’s excitement over Joe Biden and Harris taking over as leaders of the Executive Branch is hardly surprising.

Curry’s tweet follows his role in the Warriors presenting Harris, born in the team’s previous home of Oakland and a huge Golden State fan, a custom team jersey. Emblazoned with a “Madame VP” nameplate, the jersey features the No. 49 in honor of Harris being the 49th vice president in U.S. history.

A video produced by the Warriors opens with a young girl named Stella, also an Oaklander, before proceeding into the jersey presentation.

“Madame Vice President, I’m not saying that you’ve got to put this up in your office at the White House, but it’d probably a good idea,” Curry said in the video about the virtual jersey presentation, via the Mercury News. “Congratulations on blazing your own path. We’re all rooting and supporting you the whole way.”

“I will proudly, proudly display this in the office of the vice president of the United States, an office I am about to occupy,” Harris said, per SF Gate, of the framed jersey that includes a plaque that reads, “For representing the spirit of the Town.”
