Suns' Devin Booker enters health and safety protocols

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been placed in the NBA health and safety protocols, the team announced Wednesday.

Booker will miss at least Wednesday night's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 25-year-old currently leads the team with 25.6 points, matching his team-leading total for the entirety of last season. He also ranks second in assists (4.6) and third in both three-point percentage (36.8) and free throw percentage (86.4).

Booker missed the start of training camp this season due to being in the health and safety protocols.

Phoenix continues to lead the Western Conference and is a whopping 6.5 games ahead of the second-place Golden State Warriors, who have lost six of their last 10 games.
