There's been plenty of discourse surrounding the Phoenix Suns and their home games at Footprint Center.

Just a few years ago, the Suns carried what was widely considered to be one of the best homecourt advantages in the NBA when they made their magical run to the 2021 NBA Finals.

Now, the magic has shed itself from one of the loudest arenas in the country, though the Suns are intent on bringing it back at the right time.

It's no secret that winning cures everything. Especially in the Valley, fans are sure to support, so long as a winning product exists for them to warrant spending money on tickets, merchandise, etc. throughout the year.

The Suns have now won nine consecutive games at home and are finding some sort of continuity after a rough start to the season.

“Just taking pride man, we want to protect our homecourt. Like you said, we didn’t start right on our homecourt. We want to see the arena full and engaged, show our fans that we care for homecourt," said Jusuf Nurkic after the team's win over the Houston Rockets.

The Suns have a tough schedule ahead - the highest strength of schedule in the league for the rest of the way actually - though they don't mind.

“I think they said we have the toughest schedule yet. I think that is how it should be. You want to play these games late in the season, teams you might see and already get in the flow of ramping it up," Devin Booker said.

"Getting a taste of what the playoffs are going to feel like. Looking forward to it. Trying to win every game we can. Obviously, stay out of the plane and maybe move up a couple spots and get home court advantage.”

10 of the last 23 games are at home for Phoenix. They'll end the season on a three-game road trip.

As of publish, the Suns are the No. 5 seed in the West. They're three games behind the No. 4 seeded Los Angeles Clippers, which would net Phoenix homecourt advantage in the postseason.
