Times are tough for the Phoenix Suns

Nobody would have projected coach Frank Vogel's squad to be under the .500 following Christmas Day, though the Suns sit with a 14-15 record as the calendar year starts to dwindle.

Phoenix has been unable to stay healthy - their star trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have played together in just one full game thus far.

Durant and Booker have struggled in their own respects while on the floor on top of a mixed bag of performances from the minimum contract players acquired over the summer.

The championship push has yielded little results for owner Mat Ishbia and general manager James Jones. Patience has been a theme preached consistently time and time again after losses, though it's clear the fan base is unsettled at best given preseason expectations.

Damion Lee says he needs everybody to stick with the team.

Speaking to the home crowd before Phoenix's eventual loss to the Dallas Mavericks yesterday, Lee said the following:

"From near to far, our family with the Phoenix Suns to your family, we'd like to wish ya'll a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year. And [we] appreciate the support. Stick with us - trust me, just stick with us. Appreciate ya'll."

The Suns have lost their last nine-of-twelve games entering Wednesday's road test against the Houston Rockets
