As the Suns’ season has seen a quick turnaround over the past week, Phoenix has made its first roster move in what feels like forever.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Suns have signed G Saben Lee to a two-year deal. In the process, they have waived Duane Washington Jr.

Saben Lee initially signed a 10-day contract with the Suns back on January 11th following a string of injuries that the team was challenged with.

The valley native out of Corona Del Sol High School has played in ten-straight games dating back to his original contract.

During this spam, Lee has averaged 7 PPG, 3.3 APG, and has shot at an impressive 50% rate from beyond the arc.

As for Washington, the move does come as quite the surprise given the sparks, he has provided this season.

While his playing time has been extremely inconsistent, the 22-year-old from Germany has recorded four 20+ point nights. During these breakout games, Washington went 5/9, 5/9, and 5/6 from deep.

There is no question that he will be picked up by some other team quite quickly.
