The Phoenix Suns will not have Bradley Beal available tonight due to a left hamstring injury picked up prior to the All-Star break, according to Suns head coach Frank Vogel.

He also is not expected to play in the team's second night of a back-to-back tomorrow when Phoenix faces the Houston Rockets.

"[Beal] still felt it enough that we feel like he's not quite ready to be back yet... I'd say it's unlikely," Vogel said pre-game.

"All of our guys - if they're able to get out there and it's safe to not re-injure it, they're gonna be out there. We'll see what another day looks like but with a soft tissue injury like this, I'd say it's probably unlikely [Beal plays Friday] but we'll see how he's feeling tomorrow."

The Suns hope to slow down a hot Mavericks team that won six-straight entering the break. Opening tip is slated for just past 5:30 PM Arizona time.

Damion Lee remains out due to meniscus surgery had before the season.

"Good test for us," said Kevin Durant after Sunday's All-Star game about the Mavericks.

"They've been playing well lately. They've got some new additions to their team, which is more challenging. It's a great game to start the second half of the season."
