The NBA is very serious about making sure that players, staff, and fans are voting.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8 in the United States and there are important races in nearly every single state.

In order to bring attention to this, the league is doing something major: it’s not scheduling a single game on Tuesday.

That’s right, there will be no NBA games on Tuesday in order to bring attention to Election Day and ensure that fans get out there and do their civic duty.

Some fans might be disappointed to hear they won’t be watching basketball on Election Day but they should be excited about the day before.

On Monday, every single NBA team will be playing.

All 30 teams will participate in 15 games on Monday, meaning that November 7 is going to be a holiday for NBA fans.

What To Look Forward To

You can expect a lot on Monday.

The Boston Celtics will face off against the Memphis Grizzlies, in a game that could be a future Finals match-up.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns will take on the Philadelphia 76ers while the Milwaukee Bucks square off against the Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Lakers play the Utah Jazz.

Additionally, the New York Knicks will try to take down the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings will play against their California rivals, the Golden State Warriors.

All in all, there will be at least a few games that every NBA fan will love.

You can expect a lot of discussions about voting on Monday night too.

The league will make sure that viewers are aware of how to vote, when to vote, and how to get more information about the issues and candidates.
