On Thursday, the New York Knicks announced on Twitter that they have waived guard Myles Powell

The announcement from the Twitter account for the Knicks P.R. can be seen in a Tweet that is embedded below.

On October 13, Fred Katz of The Athletic reported that Powell's deal with the Knicks was an Exhibit 10 contract, which means that once he is waived they can send him to their G-League affiliate (Westchester Knicks).

The Tweet from Katz can be seen in a post that is embedded below.

Powell played for their G-League team last season and averaged 17.8 points per game in 13 games played.

The 6'2" shooting guard was an electric scorer in college for Seton Hall, and made the NCAA Tournament every season he was in school minus the final season when there was no March Madness due to the pandemic.

At just 24 years old there is still a good chance he can prove himself in the G-League and earn a spot on the Knicks or any other NBA team.
