Timberwolves vs. Nets postponed after Daunte Wright shooting

The Minnesota Timberwolves are following in the footsteps of the Twins, which canceled their game against the Boston Red Sox on Monday "out of respect" following the police shooting of Daunte Wright on Sunday.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Monday's Timberwolves game against the Brooklyn Nets has been postponed.

The officer who shot and killed Wright in Minneapolis has been placed on administrative leave. Officials said Monday that the officer accidentally fired her gun and meant to deploy her taser.
