The NBA All-Star break is just over a week away, and basketball’s biggest stars will flock to Indianapolis to engage in various events.

Still, the 2023 draft class has a few more contests to get their punches in prior to. Here are the top NBA rookies to watch tonight:

Brandon Miller, Hornets

Since the departure of Terry Rozier from the Hornets, Brandon Miller has been leaned on as an offensive weapon. And he’s been exactly that.

In his last six games, he’s scored 27.7 points, come down with 4.3 rebounds, dished 2.5 assists and garnered 2.8 stocks in around 36 minutes per game. In that same stretch, he’s shot 49% overall and 42% from beyond the arc.

Suffice to say, he’s exhibited plenty of star qualities already this season, and his recent stretch has even seen some superstar tendencies. Tonight, he’ll look to keep his hot streak going against the Bucks at 7 p.m. CT.

Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore

Fourth overall pick Amen Thompson and No. 20 pick Cam Whitmore have both had drastically different seasons, but both are heating up at the right time.

Both have seen drastically more playing time of late, with Thompson starting and playing 34 minutes in Houston’s last game, which yield 13 points, 13 boards and six assists.

Whitmore has looked the part of a scoring machine in his recent stretch. And the duo will look to get Houston back in the win column against Toronto tonight at 6:30 p.m. CT.
