Serge Ibaka was once among the best power forwards in the NBA.
The 14-year veteran has been on the All-Defensive team three times and led the league in blocks twice.
This past year, Ibaka played in 16 games for the Milwaukee Bucks and averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range.
During the middle of the season, he was traded to the Indiana Pacers (who then waived him).
On August 27, Ibaka still remains a free agent available to be signed by any team in the league.
In addition to the Bucks, Ibaka has also played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors, Orlando Magic and Oklahoma City Thunder.
He has career averages of 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 51.3% from the field and 35.9% from the three-point range in 919 regular season games.
Ibaka has also appeared in an astonishing 152 NBA playoff games and helped the Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals.
Ibaka has extensive experience and is still a reliable veteran who could help out many teams.
A contending team looking to add depth to their bench could likely sign him for a veteran's minimum deal.
In addition, Ibaka would be an incredible veteran to have in a rebuilding team's locker room as a mentor for the young players.
With training camp coming up next month, he will be a name to keep an eye on.
