After Thursday afternoon, teams will no longer be able to make trades for the rest of the 2023-24 NBA season.

With the trade deadline in less than four days, Doug Smith of The Toronto Star reported that the Toronto Raptors  are looking to move Chris Boucher

Via Smith's article in The Toronto Star: "league sources suggest the Raptors are trying to find a landing spot for him."

Boucher has played in 44 games this season and is averaging 6.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range.

He is in his seventh season in the NBA, and outside of one game with the Golden State Warriors (2017-18), he has spent his entire career with Toronto.

Boucher was with the Raptors when they won the 2019 NBA Championship over the Warriors and has respectable career averages of 8.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 48.5% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in 351 games.

However (as Smith noted), he is still owed nearly $11 million for the 2024-25 season.

As for the Raptors, they are the 12th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 17-33 record in 50 games.

On Monday evening, they lost to the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 133-100, and Boucher had 11 points, six rebounds, one assist and one block while shooting 4/5 from the field and 1/2 from the three-point range in 12 minutes of playing time.
