Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young put the world on notice this postseason, carrying the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals.

But after being snubbed from the Team USA roster, and being overlooked for the newest opening, Young took to Twitter to expressed his frustration at the disrespect.

Other basketball stars responded, telling Young to keep his head up and continue the grind.

Trae is used to the disrespect by now. For years, the guy and his team have been overlooked and underestimated, never really being considered among the Eastern Conference elites.

After Young's performance in the 2021 playoffs, that tune has started to change, as nobody could deny the impact he was making on the floor.

But the young superstar's absence from the Team USA roster is highly questionable, especially considering the inclusion of Zach LaVine and Khris Middleton.

After the first few exhibition games, Team USA is now faced with the task of replacing Bradley Beal. And while a few players have surfaced in the search, Trae's name has yet to draw consideration.

Clearly, Young has some more work to do before he gets some of the respect he feels he deserves. Whether or not he takes Beal's place this summer, expect a huge performance from him next season.
