Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul told Dwyane Wade on Wade’s podcast that he believes he’ll win an NBA championship before he retires.

Paul has never won a title during his legendary career.

Paul almost won a championship in 2021 with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns were up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks but lost four games in a row. Paul hasn’t gotten back to the Finals since then.

One of the greatest players in NBA history, Paul has played for the New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Suns and Warriors. He has career averages of 17.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 9.4 assists, 2.1 steals and 0.2 blocks.

Paul has made 12 All-Star teams, 11 All-NBA teams and nine All-Defensive teams. He will make the Hall of Fame one day whether he wins a title or not.

The Suns traded Paul to the Washington Wizards last summer in the Bradley Beal deal. The Wizards then sent Paul to the Warriors for Jordan Poole. CP3 is averaging 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.1 blocks this season while shooting 42.6% from the field, 37.1% from 3 and 83.3% from the foul line.

The Warriors are 30-27 on the season. They are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings.
