Warriors coach Steve Kerr: 'We've lost a little confidence as a group'

The Golden State Warriors are in a slump with four losses in their last five games, but head coach Steve Kerr says he's not worried about it.

“To be honest, I’m not concerned,” Kerr said after a 118-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, via The Mercury News. “We’re just in a rough patch of our season. It happens to every team every year pretty much. We’re in a bit of a rut. ... We just have to get back on track.”

The issue in Kerr's eyes is the shaken belief the team currently has in itself.

"I think we’ve lost a little confidence as a group. You could see we had a lot of open shots that weren’t going and we were kind of hanging our heads and then they’re making everything. It was just one of those nights."

The Warriors made just 34.7 percent of their shots Thursday while the Bucks made 51.2 percent. At halftime, Golden State trailed by a staggering 39 points.

The recent struggles made way for the Phoenix Suns to take over the top spot in the Western Conference and now the Memphis Grizzlies are just 1.5 game back from Golden State for second place.
