Warriors fear James Wiseman will miss remainder of season with torn meniscus
An MRI did not reveal good news for Golden State Warriors rookie center James Wiseman, who exited Saturday's 125-109 win over the Houston Rockets with a knee injury.
According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Warriors fear that Wiseman will miss the remainder of the season with a torn meniscus in his right knee:
Wiseman suffered the injury during the second quarter of Saturday's game after going up for a dunk and landing awkwardly on his leg. The 20-year-old's knee hit the floor hard, and he got up slowly before exiting the court.
Wiseman was having a solid rookie season before suffering the injury, averaging 11.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game while shooting 51.9% from the field and 31.6% from deep.
