It's been an incredibly rough season for Warriors guard Ryan Rollins. He only played 12 games during the 2022-23 NBA season due to a foot fracture in February. Now, it looks like he's finally ready to return.

Rollins spoke with KRON4 News where he gave an injury update and revealed that he'll be playing in the NBA Summer League.

"It was a process, you know I battled some injuries, went through surgery and all that," Rollins said. "I mean, it was a process, it was all a part of my journey, I learned a lot. I'm ready for next year. I'm just now starting getting back to full live playing, so, I'll be ready for Summer League and all that. So, I'll be good."

While Rollins' main role is to do whatever the coaches ask of him, the two things he's been really keying in on are defense and play-making - two things the Warriors could certainly use off the bench.

"Just do anything the coaches ask of me, go out there and play hard, compete, give it my all, and do what they tell me to do," Rollins said. "I say my defense, my play-making ability, that's what they're asking me a lot. I feel like I'm getting better with that."

The Golden State Warriors will certainly have an interesting off-season to follow, especially as many wonder where the final outcome of Draymond Green's tenure will be. Before that all starts though, the NBA Summer League is where all eyes should be.
